School Council

Welcome to our School Council

Our School Council is one of our Family Groups and we meet every half term. All of the children in school are part of a Family Group and work with children from different classes. Our School Council has members from Year 1 to Year 6 and we strive to be the voice for the children in school.

During our first meeting we hold a vote to assign roles within the council. The children were introduced to the different roles within a school council and then decided which one they would like to put themselves forward for and be included in a vote!

This year we want to raise the profile of the School Council and develop their voice within school. We want to help organise fundraising events in school, lead assemblies and work with visitors who we welcome to our school.
